Curriculum
Learning Through Love, Faith, and Exploration
At Ezion Fair Christian Community Academy, we implement the HighScope Curriculum—a research-based, child-centered approach that supports active learning through play, exploration, and purposeful interactions. Our curriculum focuses on six key content areas that align with the dimensions of school readiness outlined by the National Education Goals Panel.
Within these areas, we use 42 Key Developmental Indicators (KDIs), which are specific, observable behaviors that reflect each child’s growing knowledge and skills. These indicators help us tailor learning experiences that support cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development—ensuring children are well-prepared for school and life.

Our curriculum focuses on:
Approaches to Learning – Encouraging curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and initiative in daily activities.
Social & Emotional Development – Supporting children as they build healthy relationships, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.
Physical Development & Health – Promoting gross and fine motor skills, coordination, and understanding of personal health and well-being.
Communication, Language & Literacy – Fostering early reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills for confident expression.
Cognitive Development – Strengthening thinking, reasoning, memory, and early math skills through exploration and play.
Creative Arts – Inspiring imagination and self-expression through music, art, dramatic play, and movement.
